This is the one machine family that does not use Bluetooth at all. A dongle on the analyser's serial port joins your phone's hotspot and connects to Dairywala, then repeats the analyser's last result every couple of seconds until a new sample is run.
Fat, SNF and CLR are read from each frame. A fourth channel arrives too, but a single field capture could not tell whether it carries water or temperature — so Dairywala reads it and deliberately does not show it until a second capture settles the question. We would rather show three numbers we are sure of than four we are not.
Dairies commonly run two dongles at once, one on the scale and one on the analyser. Both dial in, and each connection is listened to separately.
